Job Summary :
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our Planning Team. If you have a head for numbers, excellent communication skills, and want to play a pivotal role in ensuring our products reach our customers on time and in full, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our M&S and Ocado operations. You will act as the central link between our Commercial, Production, Technical, and NPD teams, ensuring that plans are executed smoothly and that our service levels remain world-class.

What You Will Be Doing
Your primary focus will be managing the daily M&S and Ocado plans, ensuring data accuracy across all spreadsheets and systems. Your key responsibilities will include :
Mastering the Plan : Managing daily orders, PO amendments, and forecast anomalies to prevent production issues.
Stock Control : Tracking production and sales orders to ensure accurate running stock balances (cold store, goods in / out, and end-of-week reports).
Coordination : Liaising daily with Commercial, Production, Despatch, and Transport teams to ensure everyone is aligned on upcoming orders and changes.
Supply Chain Logistics : Scheduling fish and equipment transport, working with hauliers, and managing equipment requisitions (trays / pallets).
System Management : utilising the "Reply" scanning system and solving any scanning or system issues to prevent operational interruptions.
Communication : Acting as a key point of contact for external supply chain partners and internal stakeholders regarding promotions, NPD launches, or run-rate changes.

We are looking for a team player with a "can-do" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you should have :
Numerical Confidence : High numerical capabilities are essential for data entry and maintaining stock accuracy.
Tech Proficiency : Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Outlook) is required.
Communication Skills : The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with everyone from factory floor staff to external customers.
Problem-Solving Skills : The ability to adapt plans, prioritise work based on deadlines, and troubleshoot supply chain issues.
Process Knowledge : A working knowledge of our products and internal processes is highly advantageous.
