Rate : £50-£60 per hour

Contract Length : 6-12 months +

Determination : Inside IR35

This role requires security clearance up to SC.

To provide discipline specific engineering services within the UUK Engineering & Projects department to ensure the delivery of safe, cost effective design solutions. To undertake activities across the project / engineering cycle, including requirements capture, Optioneering, Design Delivery, review / approval of design deliverables, management of installation / construction, testing / commissioning and handover and to provide discipline specific advice into a variety of forums, taking ownership and resolving issues as required.

Purpose of the Engineering & Projects department :

• To maintain UUK's Design Authority arrangements, including :
• Design & Engineering Standards
• Engineering support to UUK organisation
• Configuration Management and Design Control
• Design Authority approval of changes & tenant oversight
• Drawing office support
• To deliver UUK Engineering projects (capital & revenue), including :
• Requirements capture
• Optioneering and design
• Specification and Procurement
• Implementation / Construction
• Commissioning & Handover
• Project Support services
