Yard Foreman

Location :  Exeter

Pay : £16.00 per hour + quarterly profit-related bonus

Hours : 39 hours per week (Mon–Thu 8 : 00am–4 : 30pm, Fri 8 : 00am–3 : 30pm, 30 mins lunch each day)

We are recruiting for an experienced

Yard Foreman to join a well-established construction solutions provider.

The Role :

As Yard Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all yard operations, ensuring equipment and materials are organised, maintained, and distributed efficiently. You will lead a small team, ensuring high standards of safety and productivity at all times.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervising daily yard activities, including loading, unloading, storage, and distribution of equipment
• Coordinating and motivating yard staff to achieve targets and maintain safety standards
• Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate records
• Overseeing equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Supporting staff training and development
