The Role

We’re looking for a capable Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development , who can also contribute to frontend work. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our AWS-based serverless architecture and Angular frontend applications.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role, best suited for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, writing clean, well-tested code, and working in a collaborative but lean environment.

We’re particularly keen to find someone who can complement existing expertise—bringing their own strengths while also being open to learning and teaching . This role offers an opportunity to push boundaries and explore better or more efficient ways of doing things.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly optimised, secure backend services on AWS using serverless and microservices patterns.
• Contribute to the Angular frontend, ensuring well-structured and reliable user interfaces.
• Champion a robust automated testing culture across unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) levels.
• Independently set up and manage AWS resources (e.g. Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito) with minimal input beyond requirements (e.g. Jira tickets).
• Evaluate and adopt additional AWS services where beneficial to improve efficiency, scalability, or best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the stack.
• Collaborate on system design, specification, deployment, and occasional customer / internal support (approx. 20% of time).
