Product Assurance Engineer

Our esteemed client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking a skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join their Future Systems R&D team. This pivotal role provides independent oversight across bid work, risk-based assurance, and design governance. Youll lead quality planning aligned with AQAP 2105, guide engineering decisions, and ensure compliance through cross-functional collaboration and supplier / customer engagement.

Responsibilities :

1. Leadership in Bid Work & Quality Planning

• Lead quality input in bids, embedding assurance from the start.
• Create and tailor AQAP 2105-aligned Quality Plans for R&D.
• Collaborate across teams to set realistic quality goals.
• Integrate compliance and risk strategies early to reduce project risks.
