Food Service Worker

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Food Service Worker in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Redford Barracks, Colinton, EH13 0PP.

As a Food Service Worker, you will mainly work front‑of‑house. You will support day‑to‑day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back of house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in‑country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

• We are offering a permanent full‑time position. You will be working 35 hours per week, over a variety of 5 days including one weekend. Shift times range from 6.00am – 7.30pm.
• The hourly rate is £12.21.

A day in the life of a Food Service Worker:

• You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
• Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
• Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Previous customer‑facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
• For this role you must be 18+
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role
• Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
