Role Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a Year 5 class in line with the National Curriculum.Support pupils’ academic progress while also developing their social, emotional, and personal skills.Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture where all pupils feel safe and valued.Assess, track, and monitor pupil achievement to ensure strong progress is made.Work collaboratively with colleagues across KS2 to plan, share resources, and drive school improvement.Maintain effective communication with parents and carers to support pupil outcomes.Contribute to the wider life of the school through CPD, team meetings, and enrichment activities.Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, ideally with experience in Year 5.Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire learners.A reflective, organised, and motivated approach to teaching.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.What the School Offers
