Salary : £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (£24.04 – £26.44 per hour)

Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm (40 hours per week)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Service / Breakdown Engineer to carry out service, maintenance and repairs on a range of commercial and domestic gas appliances and heating systems. The role involves fault finding, diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring compliance with current gas and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain gas appliances in commercial and domestic properties.
• Carry out boiler fault finding, diagnosis, and repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Perform servicing and safety checks on heating systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Install commercial boilers and associated plant equipment.
• Attend responsive maintenance and breakdown call-outs, ensuring high first-time fix rates.
• Make decisions on additional or unexpected repair requirements and communicate effectively with management / clients.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with current codes and practices.
• Accurately complete all required documentation and reports.
