Children's Home Registered Manager

Location : Camden, London

Salary : Base salary £47,958.75 with potential earnings up to £63,158.75

An Outstanding / Good Ofsted-rated children's home in London is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to oversee a 6-bed children's home . We are looking for a professional with 2-3 years' management experience and a background in supporting children aged 11-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-quality care and ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor staff to maintain an excellent standard of care. Oversee day-to-day operations while strategically developing the home.
  • Work closely with external agencies and professionals to provide a positive and structured environment.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children's Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, and safeguarding procedures.

  • Ideal Candidate Requirements :

  • NVQ Level 5 in Management (or equivalent).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing staff.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare regulations, safeguarding procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • This is a full-time position requiring flexibility, including evening, weekend, and on-call duties. The role is subject to a six-month probationary period and three months' notice (except for disciplinary matters).
