Head of Lease and Asset Projects – Strategic Asset Management – London

We’re working with a forward-thinking organisation that is expanding its Strategic Asset Management Team with a newly created role : Head of Lease and Asset Projects.

This leadership role will take ownership of a non-freehold portfolio, leading a team responsible for lease management, disrepair intervention, latent defect resolution, and compliance with statutory obligations.

Key responsibilities :

Lead and develop the Lease & Asset Projects Team, driving strategy and performance.

Oversee lease management, disrepair cases, statutory compliance, and asset projects.

Manage relationships with freeholders, managing agents, and contractors.

Investigate latent defects, working with legal and technical consultants.

Ensure compliance with legislation, including Section 20 reviews and HHSRS requirements.

Maintain service charge compliance and accurate asset data records.

Requirements :

Strong background in asset management, lease obligations, and compliance.

Leadership experience in managing property / asset teams.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory requirements, and landlord responsibilities.

Financial literacy and ability to manage budgets and KPIs.
