About the Role

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant , you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with class teachers, you’ll help deliver engaging lessons, lead small group interventions, and provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum
• Provide targeted support to pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Lead intervention sessions for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Support pupils’ emotional and social development , encouraging confidence and resilience
• Prepare and organise learning resources and assist in tracking pupil progress
• Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and carers
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
