Nursery Room Leader

Job Description :

Nova Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified, dedicated and caring Room Leader to join a fantastic nursery working with children aged 0-5 years. In this role, you will work closely with the Room Manager to ensure the smooth daily running of the room whils providing high-quality care, learning, and development. You will also take on the role of key person, observing and planning activities tailored to individual children's needs.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee the baby room, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for babies.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and development.
• Supervise and support a team of practitioners, offering guidance and mentoring where needed.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring open and effective communication regarding the child's progress and needs.
• Ensure that all children’s individual needs are met and that key-worker systems are followed.
• Support the nursery manager in meeting the regulatory requirements, including health and safety, safeguarding, and child protection standards.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Keep accurate records of children's development, achievements, and well-being.
