Building Fabric Technician

Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Building Fabric Technician to join one of the UK's leading facilities management companies working around Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.

This is a multi-site role offering building fabric maintenance services across a range of disciplines aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. There work includes a mix of PPM and reactive building fabric works internally and externally to include :

Building

• Roof - repair roof leaks and quarterly gutter and gully clearance
• Brickwork - repairs to walls
• Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
• Car Park / yard works
• Fabric - doors, protection works, office workstations, signage, carpentry, plastering and general shopfittings
• Roller shutters - annual PPM and reactive repairs

Painting and decorating

Plumbing and drainage

Joinery

Qualifications :

Ideally a relevant qualification (i.e. City and Guilds, NVQ) in a relevant construction trade

Package :

Basic salary + standby = £31,

Mon-Fri 40hrs

Travel time paid at overtime rate after first 30m

Overtime = 1.5x Mon-Sun

Company Van with fuel card, can opt into private use

33 Days Holiday inclusive of banks
