Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a long-established, highly respected manufacturing business supplying the construction and home improvement sectors. Known for investing in modern technology and lean practices, they are now looking to expand their engineering team at their Tamworth site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, multi-skilled engineer to contribute to site performance in a key hands-on role.

You'll work on a 42-hour panama shift pattern (days and nights) and be instrumental in maintaining the smooth running of plant and equipment through a blend of reactive and planned maintenance and earning £43,400 per annum.

Key Responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer role :

• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise production disruption.
• Prioritise and coordinate repair tasks, especially during multiple equipment failures.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance and project-based installations.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and internal health and safety protocols.
• Log all maintenance work accurately in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
