Shift Pattern : 4 on 4 off, 40 hours per week

Purpose :

Working as a member of the PRM airside driver Team, you will work closely with a driver in the ambi-lift vehicle to safely deliver passengers to and from the aircraft and terminals. The main responsibility of the role is to safely ensure that the ambilift is docked on / off the aircraft using marshalling signals. You will then assist PRM’s (passengers with reduced mobility) onto the aircraft, to their seat or into the ABM vehicles or terminal buildings which involves passenger and manual handling techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the driver in completing the daily Vehicle Check Sheet, to maintain the operational reliability of the vehicle, reporting when necessary any vehicle defaults in line with the Vehicle Inspection procedure.
• Receive and log the work orders issued by allocators
• Log the passengers details and flight details using PDA’s.
• Assist in delivering or collecting the passengers at the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat, wheelchair or Omni Serv vehicle through safe manual handling techniques.
• Maintain passenger safety while on-board an Omni Serv vehicle at all times
• Ensure the safe docking of the vehicle on / off the aircraft
• Ensure that the Allocator is updated on progress of jobs at all times.
• Complete CCA duties within the terminal when demand requires, this may include escorting passengers through the terminal / security and boarding flights or meeting arriving flights and assisting PRM’s through to baggage reclaim.
• Promote a safe and secure environment at all times
