Job Overview

Headlands School is seeking a talented, ambitious, and inspirational English Teacher to join our strong and committed English Department who demonstrates an infectious passion for teaching their subject.

Responsibilities

As a classroom practitioner, you will be able to demonstrate you are a committed team player and that you can enthuse, engage, motivate, and challenge our students to raise their achievement regardless of their prior attainment.

The successful post holder will recognize that excellent practitioners can teach across the age and ability range.

Qualifications

With excellent communication skills and experience of successfully implementing strategies to develop teaching and learning within your own classroom, you should be a highly organized individual with the ability to lead initiatives, introduce new strategies, and evaluate their impact on outcomes.
