Electrical Design Engineer - £50,000 - £55,000 - Permanent, 5 Days Onsite in Hunmanby

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? KO2's client, a leading innovator in complex machine design for AI-assisted solutions, is seeking a talented individual to join their head office in Hunmanby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge modular systems and retrofits, ensuring compliance with both CE and UL standards.

The Role :

As an Electrical Design Engineer , you will :

  • Develop and refine base and master drawings, tailoring designs to meet unique customer specifications.
  • Design and adapt modular and retrofit solutions for bespoke machinery.
  • Work on automation design, utilizing your expertise in servo drives, motors, safety devices, pneumatics, switches, and more.
  • Collaborate with outsourcing partners to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
  • Contribute to wiring and panel building as needed, while staying focused on delivering world-class designs.

About You :

  • 5+ years' experience in electrical design , ideally within automation systems.
  • Proficiency in EPLAN (preferred) or AutoCAD for electrical design.
  • Knowledge of servo drives, motors, safety devices, pneumatic systems, and UL / American standards.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming is a bonus but not essential.
  • Experience working on compliance-focused designs and modular systems.
