Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Senior Lead Power Systems Studies Engineer to support the Green Energy transition. This role involves leading concept studies for high voltage transmission projects across North and South Europe, working closely with engineering teams to develop solutions that meet client needs and Grid Code requirements. After project approval, you will manage external teams conducting electrical system studies, validate their work, and act as the main technical contact for clients.

The North and South Europe Grid System Integration (GSI) team delivers a wide range of high voltage transmission projects, including the connection of new & grid stability projects, and is looking for a Power Systems Studies Engineer to join the team.

Job Description

Role Overview :

The Grid System Integration (GSI) business team is a turnkey project business that works with internal and external partners to engineer, procure, construct, and commission projects related to bulk electrical power transmission and grid management. These projects typically include :

• New high voltage transmission substations.
• Expansion and reinforcement of existing substations and networks.
• On and Offshore substations for windfarm connections and renewable technologies.
• Network stability and compensation projects.
• Energy storage projects.

Responsibilities :

This role involves developing solutions from first principles or conducting electrical studies to ensure designs meet parameters, supporting both at Tender and Delivery stages. Key tasks include :
