DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparehighqualitybusinessreportstosupportstakeholderunderstandinganddecisionmaking
- Assess,evaluateandimplementmanagementaccountingsystemsforplanning,measuring,controllingandmonitoringbusinessperformance
- Complywithalltaxregulations,communicatingwithrelevantauthorities
- Produceannualaccountstotrialbalancelevelpriortothepreparationoffinancialstatementsandcorporationtaxcomputationsbyexternalaccountants
- Inputandmanagethegeneralledger journals,accruals,prepayments,fixedassetsandstock management
- Undertakecreditcontrol,debtorledgeranddebtrecoveryonanongoingbasis
- Carryoutpayrollandsalaryjournalinputsuchaspensiondeductions,commission,overtime,holidaysandexpenseclaims
- ManagementofstatutorypaymentstoHMRC(PAYE / NI / RTIetc)
- Managethesalesledgerincludingtheprocessingofclientpayments / accountsreceivableonanongoingbasis
- Managethepurchaseledgerandaccountspayableincludingtheprocessingofsupplierpayments,creditnotes
- Bankandcreditcardreconciliationsonanagreeddaily / weekly / monthlyschedule
- ProducemonthlyandYTDbudgetvsactualsummariesandpriorperiods
- PrepareandpayquarterlyVAT / Taxreturns
- Managepettycash
