Lead Service Technician - Southampton (Service-Based)

We're partnering with the world's largest survival technology provider to recruit a Lead Service Technician for their Southampton operations . This is a hands-on role that combines technical service delivery with leadership responsibilities. You'll work on life-saving marine equipment and help lead a small, skilled team - playing a key role in safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, test, and repack life-saving marine equipment (e.g., liferafts, first aid kits)
• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and equipment installations per safety protocols
• Complete reports on tests / inspections and manage stock via stores requisition
• Diagnose faults, perform emergency and preventive maintenance
• Support new / complex equipment testing within scope of expertise
• Lead daily task allocation and assist with site opening / closing procedures
• Coach and mentor technicians; support training and assessments
• Collaborate on monthly schedules and resource planning
