Policy Adviser

Overview

The postholder will take responsibility for a range of policy areas related to innovation, local growth, and the Industrial Strategy. They will analyse data, explore the evidence base and communicate their findings to thought leaders.

Responsibilities

Policy advisers have strong influencing skills, the ability to work on multiple projects at any one time and an interest in public policy (a background in higher education policy is welcome but not essential).

Working within a wider team structure focused on economic growth, skills, and research, and with support from managers, this role will work to increase the reach and impact of Universities UK’s policy and advocacy work.
