  • Hours : Monday to Friday, 07 : 00 – 16 : 30 (45 hours per week)
  • Pay : £38,563.20 + allowance
  • Annual Salary : Approx. £39,950

A quick look at the role.

To undertake all duties to refurbish waste containers in a production targeted workshop / depot environment whilst reporting to the CDC Manager.

Your core responsibilities.

  • Lead the inspection, repair, and maintenance of trade waste bins to company standards, including replacing lids, wheels, and other parts.
  • Oversee and carry out regular washing and cleaning of various sized wheeled containers.
  • Use power tools and equipment safely and correctly to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Perform or coordinate basic welding tasks where required (training can be provided).
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop and yard area.
  • Promote and follow all health and safety guidelines, supporting the team in a physically demanding environment.
  • Requirements

    Our essential requirements.

  • Be comfortable running a small team in the supervisors absence.
  • Previous experience within a workshop environment.
  • Previous experience of working in a production targeted environment.
  • Previous experience of using air tools and power tools in a workshop environment.
