CQC rating : GOOD – Carehome.co.uk rating : 9.7 / 10 – Pay : £12.80 per hour – Hours : 9 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday, 8am – 6pm.

About the role – The Activity Coordinator is the chief fun officer, creating a vibrant, joy‑filled atmosphere for residents. You design and deliver arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, pub quizzes, gentle exercise and other tailored activity plans that support residents' well‑being and social connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Produce and update an activity planner, working within a set activities budget.
• Organise birthday celebrations for residents.
• Coordinate external companies and performers for days out / events at the home.
• Conduct one-to-ones with residents, using reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading, or simple conversation.
• Support the home’s social media channels as required.
