The project involves editing provided raw footage according to a pre-established plan, with creative input highly valued. The initial engagement is for a single project, but there is potential for ongoing work based on the quality and suitability of the completed edit. The role is fully remote, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong portfolio of world-class editing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to interpret and enhance the director’s vision.

Responsibilities :

  • Edit raw video footage into a polished final product, following the provided plan and creative direction.
  • Incorporate feedback and suggestions to refine the video as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality visual and audio output, maintaining professional standards throughout.
  • Deliver the completed video within agreed timelines.
  • Communicate progress and creative ideas effectively with the project director.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and tasks efficiently.
  • Strong creative vision and willingness to contribute ideas to enhance the project.
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
  • Based in the United Kingdom preferred, but remote applicants are welcome.
  • Availability for potential follow-up projects if the initial collaboration is successful.
