We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong subcontractor background to oversee upcoming major projects across the London and the North of England, including sites in Manchester, Leeds, and Newcastle.

You’ll be managing schemes ranging from £8m to £12m, taking full responsibility for groundworks, reinforced concrete (RC) structures, steel frame erection, and cladding packages. The ideal candidate will be comfortable relocating for projects (accommodation provided) and have a proven track record in delivering complex builds on time and to budget.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead all site operations from pre-construction through to handover

Manage subcontractors across groundworks, RC, steel frame, and cladding packages

Chair and lead client-facing meetings, design coordination, and progress reviews

Produce and maintain construction programmes using Microsoft Project

Coordinate health & safety, QA procedures, and logistics planning

Report directly to senior leadership with regular updates and forecasts

Requirements :

5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager on major subcontractor-led builds

Strong technical knowledge of RC frames, steel structures, cladding, and civils

Proficient in Microsoft Project and project reporting

Confident liaising with clients, consultants, and site teams

Willing to relocate during project duration (digs covered)

Background with specialist subcontractors or concrete / steel frame contractors preferred
