The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and pursuing all new sales inquiries and leads for the medical markets / verticals for a company that manufactures converting (paper, film, foil, and nonwovens) machinery.The Sales Engineer acts as a technical sales liaison between the customer and the firm and oversees corporate trade show and advertising campaigns in their region as appointed by the Director of Sales.This position involves up to 50% travel domestically and sometimes internationally.Qualifications
MUST HAVES :
3+ years of technical experience and background with automated manufacturing machineryExperience with converting, packaging, or similar manufacturing equipmentExperience providing quotes or proposals for manufacturing equipmentExperience with trade show / advertising campaignsOkay with up to 50% travel (international and domestic)BS in Mechanical Engineering or relatedNICE TO HAVES :
Experience paper, film, foil, or nonwovens medical machineryCurrent book of business with medical POCs
