Our mobile development team is expanding, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Engineer . You will be passionate about creating high-quality mobile experiences, balancing hands-on technical delivery and leadership, mentoring a small team, designing solutions, participating in reviews, and fostering consensus through clear communication and strong technical skills.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to integrate features using TypeScript and React Native
- Improve user experience of mobile applications
- Work with shared codebases, source control, and documentation
- Identify and resolve performance issues
- Write unit tests and documentation
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
- Stay updated on mobile development trends and best practices
Skills :
6+ years building mobile apps in React Native, with 2+ years in a technical lead roleExperience with large-scale SaaS applicationsDeep knowledge of React and React NativeStrong JavaScript skills, preferably with TypeScript and GraphQLUnderstanding of Android and iOS platformsExperience with frontend testing frameworksFamiliarity with modern build pipelines and toolingKnowledge of mobile UI / UX principlesProblem-solving, attention to detail, independence, teamworkProactive in identifying improvementsWork Mode and Salary :
Hybrid work mode, in London twice a weekSalary : £95,000 - £100,000 gross / year, no current bonus or equityThe Interview Process :
