SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Immediate Start – Long Term.

Greenwich Time Plan Education is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN.

As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will support students either one‑on‑one or in group settings throughout the school day. You will work with children aged 5‑11 who have identified SEN needs. Your role will involve supporting pupils in the classroom, participating in specialist mentoring sessions, and assisting during some break times. Some students may exhibit more challenging behaviours, and the school will provide training in effective interventions and strategies. As a key member of the child's support team, you will collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior management, and external professionals such as therapists, healthcare providers, and CAMHS.

The school is an SEN school in the Greenwich area, which is known for its dynamic team and supportive SLT.

Job Responsibilities

• Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties and EAL.
• Ability to engage and support pupils.
• Assist with personal care if needed.
• Supervising pupils' behaviour.
