JOB – Finance Manager
LOCATION – Newcastle
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client is a growing SME looking to strengthen their finance function. They are seeking a Finance Manager to support the business in automating financial processes and transitioning to Xero Accounting Software, based in Newcastle.
The Finance Manager will ideally have the following attributes :
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience
- Experience in SME finance management, including reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Familiarity with accounting software and experience transitioning systems, ideally to Xero
- Strong understanding of financial processes and automation opportunities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive and hands-on approach, comfortable implementing process improvements
