Overview
The City of Salford Community Stadium Limited (CosCos) owns and operates the 12,000 capacity Salford Community Stadium (currently named the CorpAcq Stadium). The stadium is home to Sale Sharks and Salford Red Devils. It has recently acted as host venue for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025. COSCOS Ltd is owned by Salford City Council. As well as the main stadium, the company owns the land around the stadium including two training pitches.

Primary purpose
The Skilled Groundsman will play a key role in maintaining, preparing, and presenting the natural turf and surrounding external areas at Salford Community Stadium to the highest professional standards. The stadium hosts elite-level rugby league and rugby union fixtures, alongside training sessions, events, and community use. The role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to turf management, health and safety, and presentation.
