Leigh Academy Blackheath is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Psychology , joining us from January 2026 (or earlier). We are looking for an exceptional teacher who can deliver high-quality learning opportunities for our students in this curriculum area. Responsibilities
Contribute to delivering high-quality psychology lessons and learning opportunities that support student progression in the subject area. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a broad, balanced curriculum. Engage in professional development and contribute to a culture of reflective Practice and research-informed teaching. Uphold safeguarding and promote the welfare of pupils in every aspect of the role.
Qualifications and Requirements
Teacher appointment at MPS / UPS (Inner London) with access to the Teacher Pension Scheme. Strong commitment to safeguarding and equality, and readiness to participate in ongoing professional development. Experience is welcome from both newly qualified teachers and those with established experience.
