About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will be the central figure in ensuring smooth and compliant operations across the yard, transport, and office teams. Youll lead initiatives to improve safety, reduce costs, and enhance productivity, while supporting staff development and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance & Safety : Ensure full regulatory compliance (HSE, EA, Local Authority), lead audits, and manage health & safety protocols.
• Cost Control : Implement purchase order systems, audit supplier contracts, and support CAPEX / OPEX reporting.
• HR Oversight : Manage rotas, attendance, onboarding, and staff engagement initiatives.
• Operational Leadership : Coordinate logistics, support team leads, and drive continuous improvement in site operations.
