CBW Staffing Solutions are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established, industry-leading fire protection contractor , who are actively seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to join their team based in Bexley .

With over 25 years of experience , our client is a trusted name in the design, manufacture, and installation of fire doors and passive fire safety solutions , delivering projects across both public and private sectors .

The Role : This is an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Construction professional to join a reputable business during a period of sustained growth. You will oversee the full pre-construction process, from tendering and bid submission through to project handover, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the pre-construction phase across multiple projects
• Coordinate design , technical reviews, and value engineering exercises
• Work cross-functionally with the design, manufacturing, and installation teams
• Manage tender returns, presentations, and client negotiations
• Ensure smooth handover to the delivery team
• Develop and nurture client relationships to secure repeat business

Requirements : ✅ Demonstrable experience in pre-construction / estimating , ideally within fire safety or construction

✅ Strong technical understanding of fire doors and passive fire protection (desirable)

✅ Ability to manage multiple tenders and deliver under tight deadlines

✅ Excellent communication, organisational, and commercial skills

✅ Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
