Today part of the Emplas Group, we operate from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Lancashire serving fabricators and installers, nationwide.
We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Team. The role works closely with the Operations Team to ensure safety and operational targets are met. The maintenance delivery services consist of preventative and reactive work, project work alongside supporting capital investment and life-cycle work as required.
Safety is our number one priority, so carrying out maintenance in a safe and secure manner is an integral part of this role. We do this by ensuring H&S standards are strictly maintained and all related documentation is completed.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning : Clean surfaces, floors, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting furniture and other surfaces.
Restroom Maintenance : Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies like toilet paper and soap.
Waste Management : Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness.
Window and Glass Cleaning : Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions to maintain a clear and presentable appearance.
Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaboration : Work with other cleaning staff to ensure consistent and efficient cleaning operations, adhering to cleaning schedules and completing assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
Requirements
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals / tools.
Strong time management, and the ability to work independently.
Key attributes include trustworthiness and good communication skills
Previous experience is not essential but desirable.
Hours : 20 hours per week
Working Hours : Monday - Friday, 06 : 00am until 10 : 00am
Pay Rate : £12.71 per hour
