Bookkeeper

THB are a forward-thinking accounting practice based in Chobham, near Woking.

Consistent growth has created a position, ideally suited for an individual keen to learn and enter a career as a bookkeeper.

Youll work closely with our bookkeeping manager and wider team, handling core bookkeeping for our SME clients.

This is a genuinely down-to-earth team with a relaxed but focused approach to work. Youll be encouraged to grow at your own paceand wont be pushed beyond your bandwidth.

Full support and practical training will be provided.

What Youll Be Doing

• Day-to-day bookkeeping, predominantly in Xero
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Scanning and uploading client data to our online platforms, to ensure data is stored digitally
• Responding to client queries and providing helpful guidance
• Preparing Vat registration applications with HMRC
• Providing support to our client managers and other members of the bookkeeping team
