Children and Families Team - Social Worker

Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £38.43 Umbrella

Caerphilly County Borough Council

• To identify unmet need arising from assessments, and bring these to the attention of managers within Childrens Services.
• To assist in the collection of data by ensuring that the required administrative processes are properly completed at the required time.
• Demonstrate professional competence in social work practice.
• To attend agreed training to improve knowledge and skills, both for skill enhancement and personal development.
• To attend departmental meetings, and provide written or verbal reports as required.
• To liaise and work jointly with staff of other Directorates and agencies as appropriate.
• To ensure that all work is carried out in line with statutory requirements and the Directorates policies and procedures.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
