SEN Primary Tutor Location: GU20 (At-home tuition) Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm) Pay: £22-£28 per hour (dependent on experience) Start Date: Immediate We are seeking an experienced SEN Primary Tutor to provide 1:1 at-home tuition for a Year 2 male student as part of alternative provision. Student Overview Year 2 pupil, working at approximately Year 1 level Diagnosed with ASD and developmental delay (currently being assessed for ADHD) Preverbal, with limited expressive language Learning delivered through play-based, engagement-focused approaches Key Responsibilities Deliver 1:1, play-based learning sessions in the home Support early Literacy and Maths through interactive activities Adapt sessions to meet individual needs Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment Promote engagement, communication, and positive learning behaviours Requirements Experience working with primary-aged pupils with ASD Experience delivering learning through play Clear spoken English Patient, flexible, and engaging approach Comfortable delivering tuition in a home setting Benefits Competitive hourly rate (£22-£28 per hour) Consistent morning hours, Monday to Friday Highly rewarding SEN role with a meaningful impact This role is ideal for tutors who are passionate about SEN education and enjoy delivering creative, child-centred ...
