Team Leader Powder Coater .

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a motivated individual with proven powder coating skills and leadership ability to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities :

Hands-On Coating :

Apply powder coating to a range of parts and components, ensuring a flawless, high-quality finish.

Team Leadership :

Oversee and guide a small team of operatives, delegating tasks effectively while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

Quality Control :

Monitor output, identify defects, and ensure corrective measures such as polishing are carried out to meet customer specifications.

Training & Development :

Support and mentor team members, encouraging best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.

Process Compliance :

Ensure all team members follow process cards and work instructions accurately.

Workplace Organisation :

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, reducing the risk of component damage.

Equipment Oversight :

Carry out and oversee routine checks and maintenance of coating equipment to guarantee operational reliability.

Health & Safety :

Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, correct use of PPE, and safe handling of hazardous materials.

General Duties :

Assist with broader operational requirements and support management as required.

Requirements :

Previous experience in powder coating with strong technical knowledge.

Proven ability to lead, supervise, or mentor a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced production environment.

Good organisational and communication skills.
