Overview

ROLE- Senior Design Engineer

LOCATION- Andover

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £45,000 - £60,000, dependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures specialist equipment. They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in Andover on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• 3 years' or more of experience in a similar Mechanical or Electrical Engineering position
• Ideally be experienced with HVAC, Systems or Building Services design
• Experience designing layouts and schematics would be beneficial
• Experienced using 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD
• Practical understanding of machinery, installation and commissioning
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, fabrication and welded parts
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Design, Engineering or similar
• Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficient using MS Office
• Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
• Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
