Year 6 Teacher – Long-Term Supply (3–4 Days per Week) | Hastings

Location: Hastings, East Sussex
Start: ASAP
Contract: Long-term (until May half term, with potential to extend into Term 6)
Days: 3 days per week (with potential to increase to 4)
DBS: Enhanced DBS required

Pink Tile Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Hastings to recruit an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a long-term supply role, starting as soon as possible.

This is a well-supported role within a collaborative Year 6 team, ideal for a teacher who enjoys working with upper KS2 and wants the stability of a long-term booking without the pressure of full planning responsibilities.

The role:

• Teaching Year 6 on a part-time basis (3 days per week), with the potential to increase to 4 days

• No planning required – all Maths and English planning is completed by the Year 6 team

• Morning teaching will involve small group Maths and English, with three teachers working collaboratively

• Afternoon teaching will involve teaching one of two Year 6 classes, delivering IPC lessons using provided planning

• Preparing resources from existing plans where needed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS

• Has experience teaching Upper KS2 / Year 6

• Is confident delivering Maths and English from provided planning

• Enjoys working as part of a team and values consistency

• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
