Lead Developer (C++ / Vue.js) 6 Months £350-£400pd Remote

We are seeking a Lead Developer to join an exciting project building a desktop application for analysing reinforced buildings. This role will see you lead the planning of new features and manage a small team of 1-2 developers.

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : 6 months (with strong potential for extension)

Rate : £350-£400 per day Inside IR35

Location : Fully remote

Hours : Flexible, but must have overlap with teams in India, Europe, and Canada

Tech Stack & Responsibilities The desktop application is built with a C++ and a Vue.js UI running within a Chromium Embedded Framework.

You will :

Lead technical planning and small-scale architectural decisions

Mentor and guide a small team of developers

Drive feature planning and ensure delivery quality

Contribute hands-on code where needed

Essential Skills

Strong recent C++ development (within the last 12 months)

Recent JavaScript experience

Proven small team leadership

Technical planning & architectural input

Desirable Skills

Vue.js

CI / CD pipelines
