Senior Site Manager

The Role

We have a new fantastic opportunity with a strong well known business they are seeking a Senior manager who has great knowledge and depth as they need someone who can be proactive to sort and deal with issues when they arise. This is a large project that gets underway next month.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of site operations, client interaction, supervision of personnel, and close coordination with project designers.

Key responsibilities include :

Developing project plans and programmes

Directing and supervising construction workers, subcontractors, and other site staff

Ensuring compliance with deadlines, material deliveries, engineering, quality, safety, and contractual requirements

Maintaining effective cost control of projects

Managing and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships

Ensuring successful project handovers, including relevant documentation and health and safety requirements

Implementing and maintaining quality standards throughout the construction phase

Coordinating temporary works and conducting regular checks

The Person

The successful candidate will have :

A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

Experience across a range of project types

Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards

Essential requirements :

Excellent Health & Safety knowledge and awareness

SMSTS and CSCS qualifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties

First Aid qualification desirable but not essential

Salary :

Competitive, dependent on experience
