Supply Teaching Assistant - Swindon and Surrounding Area

Location : Swindon and nearby towns

Contract : Flexible supply (2-5 days per week)

Pay : £89-£100 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)

The Role

We are seeking Teaching Assistants to join our team and provide supply cover in a variety of schools across the Swindon area. You will be working with children and young people with a range of additional needs, supporting them both in the classroom and in smaller groups. We can offer regular work (5 days per week) or flexible supply (minimum of 2 days), depending on your availability.

SEND experience is highly desirable, but we also welcome applicants from care and support backgrounds who are confident, patient, and adaptable. The role requires resilience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff.

Essential Criteria

• Experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults
• Patience, flexibility, and a caring nature
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow guidance from teaching staff
