Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice

Location : Greater Bristol area

Role : Lead Veterinary Surgeon (with management responsibilities)

Hours : Full-time, 4-day working week

Weekends : 1 in 7 full weekends

On Call / OOH : Included, 1 night every 2 weeks

Salary : Up to £75,000, dependent on experience

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to step into a leadership role? This independent, high-end first opinion practice is fully equipped to support advanced case work-ups without the need for routine referral.

Facilities include :

• CT and MRI scanners
• Two ultrasound machines
• 30kW X-ray generator
• Video endoscopy
• Full Idexx laboratory suite
• High-quality microscope with video camera and screen

Most bitch spays are performed laparoscopically, and training is available for vets not yet experienced in this procedure.

This role offers the opportunity to combine clinical excellence with management responsibilities, supported by a dedicated and skilled team.
