Job Title : Lead Fire Damper Engineer

Location : Leeds, Yorkshire

Salary / Benefits : £25k - £45k DOE + Training & Benefits

Our client is a major Fire Damper company who are on the lookout for a Lead Fire Damper Engineer. Applicants will hold both testing and remedial experience and be well-versed in BS 9999 guidelines with considerable experience to carry out installs, drop testing and remedial works on fire dampers, writing up service reports, fitting access panels and conducting assessments. Experience / Qualifications :

• Ideally hold BESA Fire Damper certificate / ticket
• Comprehensive knowledge of BS 9999 guidelines
• Organised and professional
• Experience working as a Fire Damper
• Team Leader and amazing communication skills
• IT, literacy and numeracy skills

The Role :

• Service, install and maintain fire dampers
• Conduct detailed fire damper assessments and inspections
• Adaptable to travel to a mixed portfolio of client sites
• Produce technical service reports with photographs
• Completing remedials duties such as changing of links, collars and springs
• Fit access panels
• Working to agreed deadlines
