Support Worker Days at Brynhyfryd

Location: Brynhyfryd Care Home - Love Ln, Builth Wells LD2 3DG

Salary: £12.82 per hour increasing to £13.67 from 1st April

Hours: 21 hour contract

Shift Times: (07:45-13:45) (07:45-20:15)

Brynhyfryd is a residential care home located in Builth Wells, Powys, providing accommodation for up to 42 residents. It offers 24-hour care in a supportive environment, catering to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. The home is designed to create a comfortable and homely atmosphere, promoting independence while ensuring that all residents receive personalised care tailored to their needs.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

  • Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
  • Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
  • Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
