Overview
Software Engineer (Platform) at Kantar. The role is to architect and shape the foundational infrastructure that powers the digital landscape for large enterprises, design and optimize deployment pipelines, and orchestrate cloud resources to support development teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Architects, Product Owners, Managers, and representatives across various business and IT disciplines.
- Architect the development platform to support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing common, reusable tools and capabilities, interfacing with complex infrastructure.
- Lead diverse projects involving various technology stacks, focusing on the design and creation of a state-of-the-art platform with optimal CI and CD practices.
- Ensure the platform’s scalability, reliability, and security to meet the growing demands of enterprise clients.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and cloud resource orchestration.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Rust, or Golang), with willingness to learn more.Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to recognise, measure, and mitigate risk.Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies and practices.Comfortable using the Linux command line in everyday work.Interest in implementing, integrating, and maintaining observability systems and processes.Experience with CI / CD methodologies and tools.Nice to have : experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform), CI / CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes, event streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar, AWS Kinesis), build tools (npm, Maven, dotnet), RDBMS and No-SQL experience, and knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and principles.Work Eligibility
