Skilled Aircraft Fitter

Overview

Morson Talent are recruiting for Skilled Aircraft Fitters to work for our prestigious client in Filton, Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Assemble A400M components and assemblies.
• Use hand tools as part of fitter/assembly operator duties.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces as required.

Requirements

• Must have completed an apprenticeship within an engineering discipline (e.g., sheet metal worker, aircraft or maintenance technician, tool maker, fitter/turner).
• NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 or equivalent in engineering.
• Experience as a fitter/assembly operator and comfortable with hands-on assembly tasks.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and BPSS clearance before going on site.

Details

• Start from mid-October.
• 12 months rolling contract with the possibility of a permanent role.
• 35 hours per week.
• Working pattern: Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–3:45pm.
• Pay rate: £26.92 per hour Umbrella; £20.13 per hour PAYE.
• Overtime: 25% uplift Mon–Fri and 50% Sat–Sun.
