Commis Chef - Stamford

Responsibilities

• Support all chefs to manage and deliver all catering services throughout the home, ensuring resident choice, dignity, confidentiality, and safety are maintained.
• Participate in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss and agree on catering functions across the home and address residents' special needs or dietary requirements, including knowledge of cultural and religious preferences.
• Prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Chefs, promptly and in accordance with agreed mealtimes.
• Prepare special diet meals as needed and as directed by the Chefs.

About the Role

As a Commis Chef, your primary role will be to assist the Chef de Partie in preparing food and performing basic cooking tasks. You will work in different areas of the kitchen.
