Morgan Law is working with a Not-For-Profit organisation who are in need of an interim CFO to cover a period of absence.6 months£750 - £850 per day inside of IR35Hybrid (London based)AccountabilitiesLead on the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the company and its subsidiariesProvide financial input to the CEO and boardOversee the monitoring and analysis of financial performance against key performance indicators and benchmarksDevelop the technology blueprint and financial data architecture to ensure timely, accurate and holistic reporting of the finance related mattersSupport the CEO, COO and Group Director of Strategy in identifying and analysing new business opportunities and providing guidance through an effective due diligence activitiesSupport the ongoing assessment of the organisation's assets, advising the board on financial viability, risk and opportunityEnsure financial controls are in place and continually reviewed to ensure they remain effective in measuring business performance, assessment of risk and identification of emerging opportunities for cost saving and increasing profitabilityOversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and third parties to which functions have been outsourcedOversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, presenting clear performance to internal and external stakeholders to aid decision making.Lead on financial aspects in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives Candidate RequirementsBe a fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA)Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executiveHave a strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgetingPossess strong technical accounting skills, particularly when consolidating individual subsidiary accounts for an organisationPrevious experience in leading on transitioning in a new finance system Have a background in leading the finance functions of charities, central government bodies or Institutions
